Legend Avernus AlBlackEX™ was specially developed for the control and removal of Black Beard Algae (BBA) in planted aquariums. This type of algae is not only unsightly but also fast-growing, quickly spoiling the natural beauty of an aquarium.

When used together with healthy aquarium conditions, Legend Avernus AlBlackEX™ effectively weakens and starves Black Beard Algae while remaining safe for aquatic plants, fish, shrimp and snails.

To help maintain balance and reduce stress within the aquarium ecosystem, we recommend supporting plant health with nutrients such as Legend Essential™, Legend Heaven™, Legend Ancestral Phi™ and Legend Entity™. Healthy, fast-growing plants naturally consume nutrients that would otherwise feed algae, helping to slow and prevent BBA growth.

Use Legend Avernus AlBlackEX™ when Black Beard Algae (BBA) appears on plants, wood, rocks or aquarium equipment. It is ideal when algae begins spreading rapidly in planted aquariums, when manual removal alone is not sufficient, or when targeted treatment of localized algae outbreaks is required.

Drain Method

For best results:

1. Pause your filter.
2. Lower the water level to approximately 50% of aquarium water.
3. Apply the product directly onto the algae-covered area.
4. Wait a few minutes before refilling the tank.

Dosage: 1 mL per 40 L of aquarium water directly onto the affected area.
