LGND MossLine™ is a premium natural cotton thread specifically developed for attaching aquatic mosses and epiphytic plants to driftwood, rocks, and other aquarium hardscape. Its fine yet durable construction provides a secure hold during the initial establishment period, allowing plants to develop a strong natural attachment without damaging delicate tissues.
The dark green colour blends seamlessly with mosses and planted layouts, making the thread virtually invisible once installed. As plants establish themselves and naturally anchor to the hardscape, MossLine™ gradually biodegrades in the aquarium, eliminating the need for manual removal while preserving the clean appearance of the aquascape.
Suitable for freshwater aquariums of all sizes, MossLine™ offers a simple, reliable, and natural solution for creating professional aquascapes with minimal visual impact.

Directions
Place a thin, even layer of moss or position the desired plant on the selected hardscape. Wrap MossLine™ around the material with gentle but consistent tension until the plant is held securely in place. Tie the thread firmly and trim any excess material. Avoid excessive tightening that may damage delicate plant tissues.
Over time, the plant will naturally attach itself to the surface while the cotton thread gradually decomposes, leaving only the established vegetation.

How long does MossLine take to biodegrade?
The rate of biodegradation depends on aquarium temperature, water chemistry, microbial activity, and maintenance practices. Under normal planted aquarium conditions, the thread gradually decomposes after the attached plants have had sufficient time to establish themselves naturally.
Will the thread affect water quality?
No. MossLine™ is manufactured from natural cotton and is intended for aquarium use. When used as directed, it does not significantly affect water chemistry or normal biological filtration.
Can it be used with shrimp and sensitive fish?
Yes. MossLine™ is suitable for use in freshwater aquariums containing shrimp, ornamental fish, snails, and other common aquatic livestock.
Can I use MossLine for plants other than moss?
Yes. MossLine™ is equally suitable for attaching Anubias, Bucephalandra, Java Fern, Riccardia, Riccia, liverworts, and many other epiphytic plants that naturally grow attached to hardscape.
Does the colour fade in the aquarium?
The dark green colour has been selected to blend naturally with aquatic vegetation and becomes increasingly inconspicuous as plants grow and cover the thread.
