Overview
Balance RO Base™ is a complete remineralization system designed to transform reverse osmosis, deionized, and other purified water sources into biologically suitable aquarium water. Pure water produced by RO or DI filtration contains virtually no minerals and lacks the buffering capacity required by aquatic organisms.
Balance RO Base™ restores essential electrolytes and minerals required for healthy osmoregulation, proper biological function, and long-term aquarium stability. The formula provides a balanced foundation upon which aquarists can build water conditions tailored to fish, shrimp, and aquatic plants.
Available volumes: 250 mL, 500 mL
Directions
Shake well before use.
Add Balance RO Base™ to purified water before introducing it into the aquarium. Adjust dosage according to desired GH, KH, conductivity, or species requirements.
Mix thoroughly and verify water parameters before use.
FAQ
Why can't I use pure RO water alone?
Pure RO water contains virtually no minerals. Long-term use without remineralization may lead to osmotic stress and poor biological performance.
What does Balance RO Base™ add back to the water?
Balance RO Base restores essential minerals and electrolytes required for fish, shrimp, plants, and beneficial bacteria.
Is Balance RO Base™ suitable for shrimp aquariums?
Yes. The product provides a stable mineral foundation and can be adjusted according to the requirements of individual shrimp species.
Can I use it in planted aquariums?
Yes. Plants require minerals and trace elements that are absent from pure RO water.
Safety
For ornamental aquarium use only. Store at room temperature. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
Always test water parameters after remineralization and before introducing livestock.
