The carefully formulated liquid slows the movement of CO2 bubbles within the bubble counter, making bubble rates easier to observe and count accurately. This improved visibility allows aquarists to fine-tune CO2 injection with greater precision, particularly in high-demand planted aquariums where stable carbon supplementation is essential.
Legend CO2 Bubble Counter Liquid™ is odorless, hygroscopic, and ready to use without dilution. The formula contains E422, making it aquarium-safe and less likely to cause damage if small amounts are accidentally drawn toward the regulator or solenoid during backflow events.
Available in clear, blue, and green variants, the solution adds a clean visual appearance while remaining fully compatible with virtually all standard aquarium CO2 bubble counters.

Legend CO2 Bubble Counter Liquid™ is supplied ready for use and should not be diluted.
Using the precision dispensing tip supplied with the bottle, slowly fill the bubble counter to approximately three-quarters of its total capacity. Once filled, reconnect the CO2 system and adjust the bubble rate as required.
Because the solution is more viscous than water, individual bubbles travel more slowly and may appear larger. As a result, a bubble-per-second rate observed in this liquid may not correspond directly to the same bubble-per-second rate observed when using water. For this reason, CO2 adjustments should always be verified using a properly calibrated CO2 indicator or drop checker.
Periodically inspect the fluid level and top up if necessary. Under normal operating conditions, a single filling may remain effective for many months.
