How It Works
Safety
Always install the dosing system on a stable, level surface and ensure the bottle holder is securely mounted before filling the containers. Use only aquarium-safe liquids intended for automated dosing systems. Do not use with flammable, corrosive, or highly volatile chemicals.
Before refilling or performing maintenance, switch off the dosing pump to prevent accidental dispensing or siphoning. Ensure all tubing is correctly connected and fully inserted into the bottle caps and dosing pump to prevent leaks, air entering the system, or inaccurate dosing.
Each bottle should be clearly labelled with its contents to prevent cross-contamination or accidental mixing of incompatible solutions. If changing to a different additive, thoroughly rinse the bottle and replace or clean the tubing before reuse.
Do not overfill the containers. Leave sufficient headspace to accommodate the intake tube and prevent liquid from overflowing when the cap is installed. Inspect the tubing regularly for signs of wear, discoloration, hardening, or blockage. Replace damaged tubing immediately to maintain accurate dosing performance.
