Legend StressProtect™ is a professional fish care and stress-reduction formula developed to support fish during handling, transport, acclimation, quarantine, breeding, and recovery from injury. The advanced formulation helps reinforce the natural protective mucus layer while providing targeted support for damaged tissue and exposed skin surfaces.
StressProtect™ contains specialized protein-reactive protective colloids that naturally adhere to areas of minor injury, abrasions, damaged fins, and exposed tissue. By forming a temporary protective barrier, these active compounds help support the fish's natural healing mechanisms while reducing the likelihood of opportunistic infections developing in weakened areas.
The formula also assists in minimizing the effects of environmental stress associated with netting, transportation, water changes, tank transfers, and other common aquarium maintenance procedures. Unlike many conventional slime coat products, StressProtect™ is designed not to coat filtration media, clog resins, or interfere with biological filtration when used as directed.
StressProtect™ is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums and may be used alongside most aquarium medications, excluding copper-based treatments.

Directions
Shake well before use.
For routine stress reduction and slime coat support, add 5 mL (1 capful) per 40 L (10 U.S. gallons) of aquarium water.
When introducing new fish, transporting livestock, performing large water changes, or carrying out maintenance that may cause stress, dose directly into the aquarium or holding container immediately before and after the event.
For fish recovering from injury, fin damage, abrasions, aggression-related wounds, or netting injuries, the standard dose may be repeated daily until visible improvement is observed.
StressProtect™ may be used during quarantine procedures and alongside most medications. Remove or discontinue copper-based treatments before use.
In situations involving severe stress or significant physical injury, the dosage may be safely increased up to 5 times the standard dose without affecting aquarium pH.
Do not exceed recommended dosage when using multiple water conditioners simultaneously.
Use 1/2–1 capful (2.5–5 mL) to every 40 L (10 US gallons) daily until signs of stress have abated or healing is complete. Dose may be safely doubled.
