Overview
Legend Evenness™ is an optimized combination of mineral salts, carbonate hardness, and overall hardness components, based on the natural model of many tropical waters.
Legend Evenness™ is extremely pure, absolutely free of phosphates, nitrites, sodium, or chloride and helps ensure that no undesired by-products reach the aquarium water.
The use of Legend Evenness™ not only enriches water with minerals but also raises the carbonate hardness and overall hardness and thereby increases the buffer capacity of the aquarium water. The pH value is stabilized and the risk of a dangerous pH (acid) crash is reliably avoided.
Legend Evenness™ has an optimal composition to create an ideal environment for healthy and biologically balanced aquarium water. The growth of filter bacteria is encouraged, which improves the reduction of harmful substances in the aquarium. Possible deficiency symptoms caused by the exhaustion of minerals are avoided. Reverse osmosis water as well as other soft waters are converted into an ideal starter water for properly keeping and breeding all types of freshwater fish. Legend Evenness™ contains only calcium, magnesium, and potassium salts, which aid in fish metabolism and are also beneficial to plant growth.
To raise mineral content / general hardness (GH) by 1 meq/L (3 dH), add 16 g (1 tablespoon) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) when setting up an aquarium or when making water changes (add to new water). For optimum solubility, we recommend mixing with 1 L (1 qt.) of water (the resulting mixture will have a white opaque appearance). When this mixture is added to the aquarium it may impart a slight haze that should clear within 15–30 minutes.

Use

Hints
Do not use Legend Evenness™ when replacing evaporated water. This dose is based on DI/RO water; for other source water, measure GH first, then dose according to need. For precise dosing, use an accurate digital scale.
Conversion reference: 1 meq/L ≈ 3 dH. If your test kit reads in dH, divide dH by 3 to estimate meq/L. Always adjust gradually and re-test between adjustments.

How often should I add Legend Evenness™?
A: Add it when setting up an aquarium or when making water changes (dose into new water). Do not add it to replace evaporated water.
Will Legend Evenness™ raise pH?
A: Legend Evenness™ is intended to raise GH. It does not contain buffering agents, so it should not directly raise KH or pH on its own.
